I don't know. Depending on the amount of ram, some init routines in the
tos (to clear ram, test amount of ram, ...) can also take a variable
number of cpu cycles, which can cause similar bugs to the one when acia
delay varies.

Regarding the OverscanMode variable, I think it would be better to name
it "top/bottom overscan", because left/right overscan is defined on a
line basis.
Also, this variable is a OR ; you can have top+bottom overscan, which
your code doesn't handle.
