Hey, are you kidding, what a lame hardware Videl would be without this ;-)
Of course you can change all parameters on the fly, screen base is notable
exception (same as on ST/E).

Yes, sure. And not only that, you can have also different resolution (8bpp
vs truecolor) in that way. In a way it reminds me Atari800's ANTIC.
