Well, it depends... of course you can't enable the DSP while the
program which requires the DSP is already running.

But you can, for example, boot without DSP, then when the emulated
system is at the GEM desktop, switch-on the DSP in the GUI, and then
run some DSP based programs like SPHERE.PRG.
